I’m a technology entrepreneur with a background as an award-winning multidisciplinary designer, educator, speaker, and content creator.

🚀 Designer + Tech Entrepreneur

After a decade working as a designer with Fortune 500 companies, I took the entrepreneurial leap and founded Path Unbound, a UI/UX design school offering comprehensive, instructor-led, 1:1 learning programs and portfolio coaching for both aspiring and working designers. As a founder, I specialize in no-code development and run the company with a bootstrapped model.

I’ve had the opportunity to speak at international conferences on topics like bootstrapped startup building and career development in design—topics I care deeply about.

📚 Educator

As an educator, I’ve served as adjunct faculty at several institutions, including the Fashion Institute of Technology and the City University of New York (CUNY). I was also the Lead Visual Design Instructor at General Assembly before starting my own school.

🌍 Immigration & Digital Nomadism

I moved to the United States 🇺🇸 from China 🇨🇳 at 18 with a full scholarship to attend university. After a decade in New York and a few years in Los Angeles, I’ve embraced a location-independent lifestyle ✈️ and now live and work around the world. I’m also a recipient of the EB-1A green card for individuals with extraordinary ability 🏆 from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

As a content creator, I share life hacks and travel experiences from the lens of a globe-trotting digital nomad, with a focus on storytelling, personal growth and practical travel insights.

In my free time, I’m a passionate bachata 💃🏽 dancer, a multilingual language 🌐 enthusiast, and a startup mentor with organizations like Techstars, Startupbootcamp, Alchemist Accelerator, and Founder Institute.
