Tarifa walking tour
excursionJoin a guided walking tour through Tarifa, led by a local guide who knows the town inside out. This is an independent activity, but a great option if you’d like to explore a bit more of Tarifa in a relaxed way. You’ll wander through the charming old town, discover hidden streets, and take in views all the way to Africa. Along the way, you’ll hear stories, visit local spots, and get a deeper feel for the place beyond the usual highlights. A simple, easy way to get to know Tarifa a little better.
Kitesurfing Try Out
activityIf you’ve ever wanted to try kitesurfing, Tarifa is the place. Known as the wind capital of Europe, it attracts riders from all over the world—and during Nomadbase, you’ll have the chance to experience it yourself. We’ve partnered with **Kite Progress Tarifa**, a trusted school with 15+ years of experience, offering kite, surf, and wing foil lessons, rentals, and coaching for all levels. As a Nomadbase participant, you’ll get **exclusive discounts:** – Lessons: 10% off (2–10 hours), 15% off (10+ hours) – Rentals (kite, wing, surf): 20% off (1 day–1 week), 30% off (1+ week) – Shop products: 10–50% off selected gear and accessories (Use code: **NBXKPT** when booking) We’re also planning beginner-friendly **demo sessions** where you can try flying a kite on the beach with certified instructors. These will run in 30-minute slots (2 people per session), with exact timing depending on conditions—so stay flexible and keep an eye on updates. To stay connected, get daily wind updates, and find people to ride with, you can also join the Nomadbase kitesurfing [WhatsApp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/D6xjw3ku182CRUvYYHZySg?mode=gi_t) Whether you’re a complete beginner or already riding, this is your chance to experience one of Tarifa’s signature activities. We are meeting at Kite Progress Tarifa.

What our community says
“I came to Tarifa thinking I'd enjoy the sun and a few good talks. I left with a co-founder and a group chat that's still going strong six months later. ”
John P. — UX Designer
“I've done retreats, co-living, conferences. Nothing blends them the way Nomad Base does. Tarifa adds something special - the wind, the light, the fact that you can literally see Africa from the beach. You come for the programming, you stay for the feeling. ”

“Best investment I made this year. The connections and lifetime experiences are priceless.”

FAQ
Accommodation is not included in the ticket price. Your ticket mainly covers our event organization efforts, such as planning the event and securing venues. However, we’ll give you recommendations and deals for nearby places to stay. Plus, we’ll provide an online space for you to team up with other participants to organize shared apartments. This way we keep things flexible and let you pick your favorite option that best suits your preferences and budget. We will share more details about the accommodation options in our event guide for participants.
Yes! As a business and networking event, the ticket price is tax deductible, however we recommend consulting with your accountant to confirm eligibility in your specific case.
