Achim Schmidt – Design Thinking Meets AI: Human-Centered Problem Solving
In this session, participants will explore how Design Thinking and Artificial Intelligence can complement each other to tackle complex, human-centered challenges. Using the real-life example of a young family seeking to live as digital nomads – balancing freedom, travel, and adventure with a child’s need for stability and belonging – Achim will demonstrate the power of framing the right problem before rushing into solutions.
He will show how AI can serve as a creative co-pilot, from generating fresh ideas in minutes to building simple prototypes and gathering quick feedback. The session is designed to be engaging, practical, and thought-provoking, with tools, exercises, and methods that participants can immediately apply to their own projects, businesses, and personal challenges.
If time allows, there will also be a short interactive exercise to bring these concepts to life.
