Speaking at Nomadbase is the best way to showcase your talent to other nomad entrepreneurs. It gives you the chance to prove your talent and knowledge in front of others – others who in the future could potentially be interested in teaming up with you.
Becoming a speaker at Nomadbase is easy. All you need to do is fill out a form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible with possible dates for your talk.
A Skill Sharing Community
What does it mean to be part of a skill sharing community? Our community is based on openness and sharing knowledge. The Academy gives us a way to provide structure for sharing this huge amount of information. So, before you apply please make sure you agree to the following:
- Giving a talk or workshop is voluntary, and there isn’t any kind of compensation but it’s a great way to showcase your talent which can often lead to many opportunities in the future.
- You should share your wisdom and expertise with fellow nomads to educate them, and not to sell your product or service.
- We are looking for hands on advice or case studies that allow our community to learn and take action.
What Kind Of Formats We Have
Talks: 30 minutes
These are usually short but packed full of valuable info for all of us. Business thoughts and ideas, case studies as well as guidance around personal development and so on. We share key information that helps members take action and you have the chance to position yourself as an expert in the community for the topic.
Workshops: 60-90 minutes minutes
Do you have significant expertise in something people like to learn about? Why not host a workshop? This is an interactive event where we get participants to take action and actively participate so they can apply the new knowledge immediately. This is our longest event format, so you will have more than enough time to teach your topic thoroughly. You should get your attendees involved and practice on the spot. This is an opportunity to connect deeply with your audience through something you’re really skilled at and passionate about.
Topics We’re Looking For
Your topic should align with the Nomad Entrepreneur Journey and should help listeners take the next step on their road to financial and geographical freedom. Lessons learned from starting your nomad life, transforming your business from on-site to online, finding a remote job are all topics that our members would love to hear about!
About The Application
After all the events we’ve organised so far we know one thing for certain – our community is freaking fantastic! There are so many talented, interesting, jaw-dropping storytellers and masters of their art that it becomes extremely difficult to choose from all the applications.
We are constantly measuring the needs of our members so that we have our program tailored to them. We review applications with this in mind. We would love to hear what you have to share with the community!
